Eldhestar Horse Rental recently received the Icelandic Tourist Board's official quality label Vakinn.

The aim of Vakinn's quality system is to strengthen quality and safety in tourism through guidance and support, as well as to develop a sense of social responsibility.

Eldhestar is the first tour operator on the south coast of Iceland to receive this recognition. All companies applying for Vakinn must follow a Code of Conduct.

Eldhestar is a country hotel and horse farm located in a tranquil environment only a 30 minutes‘ drive from Reykjavík, in South Iceland. Accommodation is in 26 spacious and well equipped double rooms with private facilities. Eldhestar is our farm of the month in February.
