Nýpugarðar is located 33 km west of Höfn and 45 km east of Jökulsarlón Glacier Lagoon. 5 dbl rooms with shared facilities and kitchen. Beautiful glacier view from the guesthouse where you can see four outlet glaciers.

Large variety of walking trails nearby and excellent birdwatching in summer. Domestic petting zoo at Hólmur where both young and old can have a wonderful time, only 4 km away.

10 km away is the pick-up point for snowmobile or super jeep tours on Vatnajökull, the largest glacier in Europe, and 45 km away is the picturesque Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where it is possible to go on an unforgettable boat cruise between the icebergs.

How to find?
Nýpugarðar is by road 9826 

From Höfn: Drive about 28 km from Höfn towards Kirkjubæjarklaustur. Turn left towards Borg, drive 3,5 km and you will reach Nýpugarðar.

From Jökulsárlón: Drive about 47 km from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, towards Höfn. Turn right towards Borg, drive 3,5 km and you will reach Nýpugarðar.
