We are proud to announce our latest Hey Iceland member, Hliðsnes. Hliðsnes offers two fully furnished ocean front houses in a peaceful setting only a few steps away from the Atlantic Ocean on the tip of Álftanes, a narrow peninsula with the ocean on one side and an ocean-connected pond on the other. Hliðsnes is only a 20 minutes‘ drive from Reykjavík city centre - a perfect location for both a Reykjavík city break and sightseeing in Southwest Iceland.

The houses are in a peaceful setting only a 20 minutes' drive from Reykjavík. 

The houses are fully furnished, bright and cosy.

Hliðsnes is a birdwatcher's paradise with nesting grounds for 25 species and regular sightings of over 40 species.

About our members

Hey Iceland is a membership-based operation. Members need to fulfil strict quality standards to enter the Hey Iceland Association and to be included in our portfolio of accommodation and tours.

All Hey Iceland members are inspected on a regular basis by our Quality Manager and other staff to make sure quality standards are met and that our team has first-hand knowledge of the properties and service providers for the benefit of our customers.
