8 Days | Self catering Holidays



Days 1, 2 and 3 | The South
 
Pick up the car at the airport. Visit the Blue Lagoon
depending on your arrival time. Explore Iceland’s
famous circle of wonders “The Golden Circle”, i.e.
Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir
hot spring area. The magnificent waterfall and the
folk museum at Skógar.  Dyrhólaey. Reynisfjörur beach.
You will be able to drive to Skaftafell National Park
and the glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón.
Accommodation in a self catering cottage for 3 nights.

 
 
Day 4 | South West
 
On your way north visit the Borgarfjörður area,
Hraunfossar, even detour to Snæfellsnes peninsula. 
Accommodation in Borgarfjörður/Hrútafjörður area.

 

 
Days 5, 6 and 7 | The North
 
The nature baths in Mývatn area are not to be missed.
Go Whale watching in Húsavík. Dimmuborgir. Hike
across lava fields to see boiling mud pots in Krafla area.
Goðafoss (Waterfall of the Gods).
Accommodation in self catering cottages for 3 nights.
