A themed hiking and biking 7 day tour in the countryside

 
Icelandic Farm Holidays now offers a new hiking and biking tour in collaboration with three farms that takes place in the south part of Iceland. The tour takes you through the history and culture of the county of Árnessýsla where you can see and experience the geothermal  heat from the hot spring Geysir and nature pearls such as Langjökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers, Hekla mountain and Gullfoss waterfalls, just to mention a few.
 
The tour In the footsteps of a King  is a 7 day/6 night tour where you stay at three different farms  during the tour. You get a taste of the real life of the locals and the area is experienced in a unique way.
 
This hiking/biking tour is ideal for those who are interested in a more personal and closer acquaintance with Icelandic history, people and nature in the relaxing countryside.
 
There are departures now in April and May and the tour can be altered according to your preferences if needed. The price is EUR 770 per person in a double room and that includes 6 nights of bed and breakfast, packed lunches and snacks for each day and 6 dinners, as well as all the driving included in the itinerary.
