Hjarðarból is located between Hveragerði and Selfoss, just 30 minutes drive from Reykjavík. Accommodation in separate houses, rooms with and without private facilities.

Ideal place to stay for a few days - daytrips to different places, such as the Blue Lagoon, Gullfoss/Geysir/Þingvellir and popular attractions along the south coast. Nice hiking possibilities in the area and a horse rental at Eldhestar (6 km).

How to find?              By road no. 374

From Selfoss village: Leave Selfoss heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1. After only about 6 km you need to turn right into road no. 374. After only about 100 m you turn left into the driveway to Hjarðarból farm.

 

From Hveragerði village: Leave Hveragerði heading to Selfoss on road no. 1.  After only about 7 km you need to turn left into road no. 374 (note: the 2nd exit into road no. 374). After only about 100 m you turn left into the driveway to Hjarðarból farm.
