Comfortable and luxurious apartments and rooms of various sizes, located in the beautiful surroundings of South Iceland. Each apartment accommodates between 2 and 7 persons, in total there is accommodation for 64 people in 6 houses and 10 apartments. All apartments have internet access, multi-channel TV, fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom facilities, outdoor hot tub, barbeque and porch.

Grímsborgir is located close to some of the most stunning sights in South Iceland, such as River Sogið, the country’s largest freshwater river, and Þingvellir National Park – a site of vast historical, cultural and geological importance. Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, peace, and tranquility, Grimsborgir is only a 45-minute drive from Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik, and a 90-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport.

The cosy Restaurant Grímsborgir seats up to 60 people. “A la Carte” menu with traditional Icelandic dishes made from fresh, local produce, such as Icelandic fish and lamb. The restaurant also offers meeting facilities for up to 20 people.




How to find? 
Grímsborgir is by road no. 36

From Selfoss town: Leave Selfoss heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1. After only about 2 km you need to turn right into road no. 35. Stay on road no. 35 for about 8,5 km, turn left on road no. 36 towards Þingvellir National Park. Drive road no. 36 for about 4,5 km then you will see Grímsborgir on your left hand side.
