How to find?
Skálabrekka is by road no. 36.
From Reykjavík: Leave Reykjavík on road no. 1, heading towards Þingvellir National Park on road no. 36. Drive road no. 36 for about 25 km. 6 km before Þingvellir, turn right when you see the sign Cottages.
From Selfoss village: Leave Selfoss heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1. After only about 2 km you need to turn right into road no. 35. Stay on road no. 35 for about 8,5 km, turn left on road no. 36 towards Thingvellir National Park and drive for about 9.5 km. Turn left on road no. 360 and drive for about 27 km, and turn right on road 36. Drive for about 2 km, turn left when you see the sign Cottages.
