Traditional farm. Accommodation in 4  rooms in cat. II on the ground floor of the farmhouse and 10 dbl rooms in cat III in separate building (TV in cat III rooms). Dinner available 01.06-15.09, other times if booked in advance. Hot pot for guests.

 

Beautiful view and interesting walking routes in the neighbourhood (Brúarskörð, Kóngsvegur). Trout fishing in Brúará river. Horse rental for guests.

From Selfoss/Laugarvatn: The easiest way is to drive along road no. 35 from Selfoss in the direction of Geysir. You drive 57 km along that road, nearly all the way to Geysir, and when you come to a crossing where roads 35 and 37 meet, you take left onto road nr. 37. There you pass Úthlíð on the right hand side, and drive 7 km further before you turn right to the farm. If you are driving from Laugarvatn in the direction of Geysir, the farm is located just 13 km from Laugarvatn and then you turn left.
