Bicycles available for rent. Also a boat rental and fishing at the adjacent Lake Villingaholtsvatn.
The Northern Lights can often by enjoyed in winter time from Vatnsholt - perhaps together with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.
Vatnsholt is conveniently located 70 km from Reykjavik with easy access from the main highway (route 1).

How to find:
Vatnsholt is by road no. 309
Drive through Selfoss on highway 1 for about 7-8 km. Turn right when you see a sign to Villingaholt. Drive along the road Villingaholtsvegur nr. 305 for about 7 km until you see a sign for Kolsholt road nr. 309 on your right. As you turn right onto this road you will see the farm. Drive 700 m and turn left until you see a sign for reception. From Hvolsvöllur:
Drive through Hella, following the signs as if you were going to Selfoss. About 7-8 km before you are in Selfoss you will see a sign on your left: Villingaholt, turn left there. Drive along the road Villingaholtsvegur nr. 305 for about 7 km and then you see a sign on your right: Kolsholt road nr. 309. Turn again to the right (now you can see the farm). Drive for 700 m and turn left until you see a sign for reception.
