Búðarhóll is by road no. 253
 
From Hvolsvöllur village: Leave Hvolsvöllur heading on Vík on road no. 1. After about 10 km you need to turn right into road no. 253.  Stay on road no. 253 for about 15 km and you find the farm Búðarhóll on your left.
 
From Vík village: Leave Vík heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1. 1. After about 70 km you need to turn left into road no. 253.  Stay on road no. 253 for about 15 km and you find the farm Búðarhóll on your left.
