The farm is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Eyjafjöll, only five minutes drive from Skógafoss. We offer accommodation in three houses. All our rooms have private facilities (WC, shower and handbasin). We have many family rooms that can easily accommodate up to 5 persons and we also offer rooms with facilities for disabled. The houses can be rented in whole to groups. Sleeping bag accommodation is available from 1st of October – 30th of April.
From 1st of May – 30th of September we have open a restaurant where people can buy lunch and dinner in the evening from menu („á la carte“). From 1st of October – 30th of April it is necessary to book dinner in advance.
Activites: Snowmobile tours on Mýrdalsjökull, horse rental, boat trips to Dyrhólaey, fishing, flight and sailing to Westman Islands and many hiking paths, for example from Skógar to Þórsmörk over Fimmvörðuháls.
Nearby attractions: In Drangshlíð surroundings there are plenty of beautiful places, such as Skógarfoss waterfall, Þórsmörk, Dyrhólaey, Seljalandsfoss waterfall, the Skógar folk museum, Sólheimajökull glacier, Skógar black sand shore and the famous rock, Drangurinn in Drangshlíð.

How to find? By road no. 1
From Vík village: Leave Vík heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1. After about 34 km you find Drangshlíð on your right.
From Hvolsvöllur village: Leave Hvolsvöllur heading for Vík village on road no. 1. After about 50 km you find Drangshlíð on your left (150 km from Reykjavík).
