How to find?              
Vellir in Mýrdal is by road no. 219 (1220 m. from road no. 1)
 
From Vík village: Leave Vík heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1.  After about 22 km you need to turn left into road no. 219 (circular road with two exits and this is the first one coming from Vík). After about 1,5 km you find Vellir farm on your left (south of the road no. 219).
 
From Skógar village: Leave Skógar and turn left into road no. 1, heading to Vík. After about 12 km you need to turn right into road no. 219 (circular road with two exits and this is the first one coming from Skógar). After about 1,5 km you find Vellir farm on your right (south of the road no. 219).
