From Egilsstaðir: Leave Egilsstaðir on road no. 1 heading south to Höfn village. Stay on road no. 1 for about 12 km, turn right on road no. 931 towards Hallormsstaður. Drive on road no. 931 for about 13 km, farm Hafursá is 0,5 km from the road on the left hand side.
