Eyjólfsstaðir Guesthouse is located in the beautiful rugged nature of East Iceland. A peaceful location just 9 km south of Egilsstaðir. We offer made up beds or sleepingbag accomodation in single, double, triple or quadruple rooms without private facilities.

Provided is free wireless internet access for our guests and tea or coffee is always available free of charge.

We also offer two or three course dinner for groups, if booked in advance.

How to find?              
Eyjólfsstaðir á Héraði is by road no. 1

From Egilsstaðir: Leave Egilsstaðir on road no. 1 heading south to Höfn village. Stay on road no. 1 for about 9 km and then you see Eyjólfsstaðir on your right.

From Djúpivogur: Leave Djúpivogur heading for road no. 1, where you turn right towards Egilsstaðir village. Stay on road no. 1 for about 135 km (passing over Breiðdalsheiði heath) and you find Eyjólfsstaðir on your left (about 9 km before arriving in village Egilsstaðir).
