Útnyrðingsstaðir is an ancient farm in a wooded environment that has been inhabited by farmers of the same family for over 300 years. The farm specializes in horse breeding and taming.
 
Located by road no. 1 (6 km south of Egilsstaðir).

How to find?
Útnyrðingsstaðir is by road no. 1 

From Egilsstaðir: Leave Egilsstaðir on road no. 1 heading south to Höfn village. Stay on road no. 1 for about 6 km and then you see Útnyrðingsstaðir on your left.

From Djúpivogur: Leave Djúpivogur heading for road no. 1, where you turn right towards Egilsstaðir village.  Stay on road no. 1 for about 138 km (passing over Breiðdalsheiði heath) and you find Útnyrðingsstaðir on your right (about 6 km before arriving in village Egilsstaðir).
