Accommodation with separate entrance on the upper floor of the farmhouse, rooms with a shared bathroom. Also a separate 60 m2 house with 2 double rooms and a sleeping loft.

Skútustaðir is situated by Lake Mývatn.  Organised tours from Reykjahlíð to Askja.  Mývatn Nature Baths 18 km.

How to find?    

Skútustaðir is by road nr. 1

From Akureyri:
Leave Akureyri heading to Mývatn on road no. 1. Stay on for around  85 km and you find Skútustaðir on your right (on the other side of the road from farm Skútustaðir you find Skútustaðir pseudo-craters).

From Mývatn (Reykjahlíð village):
Leave Reykjahlíð heading on Akureyri on road no. 1. Stay on for around 15 km and you find Skútustaðir on your left (on the other side of the road from farm Skútustaðir you find Skútustaðir pseudo-craters).
