How to find?              
Rauðaskriða is by road nr. 85
 
From Akureyri: Leave Akureyri heading to Mývatn on road no. 1. After about 46 km you need to turn left into road no. 85.  After about 20 km (just after the bridge over Skjálfandafljót river) you need to turn right into the driveway to Hotel Rauðaskriða.
 
From Húsavík: Leave Húsavík heading to Akureyri on road no. 85 After about 20 km then road no. 85 takes a right turn, take that turn and stay on road no. 85. Continue for about 7 km before you need to turn left (just before passing the bridge over Skjálfandafljót river) into the driveway to Hotel Rauðaskriða.
