How to find?              
Leifsstaðir is by road no. 829
 
From Akureyri: Leave Akureyri on road no. 1 heading for Húsavík/Lake Mývatn.  After only about 0,4 km (just after you have crossed the bridge over the fjord) you need to turn right into road no. 829.  Stay on road no. 829 for about 1,2 km and then turn left onto road no. 8490. You drive 1 km on road 8490 and onwards to road 8210, where you drive 0,4km. You turn to left of road 8210 to Leifsstaðir.
