In winter, relaxing stay of 3 - 5 days is offered where guests can take part in the farmlife and have discussion about Icelandic literature and society. Daily trips to a nearby swimming pool with jacuzzi spa.

From Varmahlíð: Leave Varmahlíð heading to Blönduós on road no. 1. After only about 1 km you need to turn left into road no. 752. Stay on road no. 752 for about 20 km and then you find Sölvanes on your right.
 
From Blönduós: Leave Blönduós heading to Varmahlíð on road no. 1. After 50 km, only about 1 km before you arrive at Varmahlíð, turn right into road no. 752. Stay on road no. 752 for about 20 km and then you find Sölvanes on your right.
