How to find?               

Hof I in vatnsdal is by road no. 722

From Borgarnes: as you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle. Take the exit into road no 1 in direction of Akureyri. You need to drive for about 150 km on road no. 1 (passing the heath Holtavörðuheiði) before turning right into road no. 722.  Note that there are two exits from road no. 1 into road no. 722, take the 2nd one just after crossing the river Vatnsdalsá.  Stay on road no. 722 for about 16 km and you come to the farm Hof.

From Akureyri: You leave Akureyri on road no. 1, direction Reykjavík.  Stay on road no 1 for about 165 km (passing through the villages Varmhlíð and Blönduós) before turning left into road no. 722. Note that there are two exits from road no. 1 into road no. 722, take the first one just before crossing the river Vatnsdalsá. Stay on road no. 722 for about 16 km and you come to the farm Hof.
