From Borgarnes: as you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle. Take the exit into road no 1 in direction of Akureyri. Stay on road no. 1 for about 110 km before turning right into road no. 704. Continue for 8 km on road no. 704 and you come to Brekkulækur farm.
From Akureyri: You leave Akureyri on road no. 1, direction Reykjavík. Stay on road no 1 for about 200 km (passing through the villages Varmhlíð and Blönduós) before turning left into road no. 704. Continue for 8 km on road no. 704 and you come to Brekkulækur farm.
