How to find?              
Rauðsdalur is by road no. 62
 
From Stykkishólmur (starting with crossing Breiðafjörður fjord by ferry):
After the ferry ride, upon arrival at Brjánslækur ferry center you take road no 62 (direction village Patreksfjörður). After about 6 km you see Rauðsdalur farm on your right.
 
From Stykkishólmur (by car):
you leave Stykkishólmur on road no. 58, heading for Grundafjörður and stay on it until its end and then turn left into road no. 54.  Stay on road no 54 for about 67 km when you need to turn left into road no 60 (Vestfjarðarvegur). Stay on road no. 60 for about 228 km (along all the southern fjords) until you come to Vatnsfjörður fjord where you turn left into road no 62. After about 12 km you see Rauðsdalur farm on your right.
 
From Patreksfjörður:
take road no. 62 (direction Brjánslækur ferry center), stay on it (passing Kleifarheiði mountain road) for about 46 km and then you see Rauðsdalur farm on your left.
