How to find?
Hótel Hellnar is by road no. 574
From Borgarnes: as you leave village Borgarnes, direction Akureyri on road no. 1 then you come to a traffic circle. Take the last exit into road no 54 in direction of Stykkishólmur. Stay on road no 54 for about 96 km until you need to turn left into road no. 574, continue for about 19 km when you need to turn left into the drive-in of Hellnar community, where you find hotel Hellnar.
From Stykkishólmur: you leave Stykkishólmur on road no. 58, heading for Grundafjörður and stay on it until its end and then turn right into road no. 54 and drive for about 6 km when you need to turn left into Vatnaleið road (no 56). After about 16 km you come to its end and then you need to turn right into road no 54. Stay on road no. 54 for about 37 km until you need to turn left into road no. 574, continue for about 19 km when you need to turn left into the drive-in of Hellnar community, where you find hotel Hellnar.
