A professional display of the history and gaits of the Icelandic horse. The show is focused on both education and entertainment. In only 12 minutes the show gives insight into one of the finest horse breeds in the world, a breed that has been intertwined with the culture and history of the Icelandic nation through the centuries.
After the show guests are invited to the stable where they can get a closer look at the horses, take pictures and chat with the show riders.
Shows are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, also available at other times for groups if booked in advance. The show can be presented in various languages.
Also opportunity to visit the greenhouse at the farm where tomatoes are cultivated.

How to find? By road no. 35
From Selfoss village: Leave Selfoss heading to Reykjavík on road no. 1. After only about 2 km you need to turn right into road no. 35. Stay on road no. 35 for about 40 km and you arrive in Reykholt village.
From Geysir hot spring area: Leave the area heading to Selfoss on road no. 35. Stay on road no. 35 (note: after aprox 9 km it takes a left turn) for about 20 km and you arrive in Reykholt village.
