How to find?
Þóroddsstaðir is by road no. 45
From Keflavík International airport:
Leave the terminal heading for Reykjavík. After about 1 km you arrive at a traffic circle where you turn towards Sandgerði village (road no. 41). When you have entered Sandgerði, turn right into road no. 45. Stay on for around 2,5 km where you will find Þóroddstaðir on the left side.
From the Blue lagoon:
Leave the Blue Lagoon on road no. 426 heading toward Reykjavík, soon you arrive at road no. 43 and turn left there. After about 10 km you arrive at the Reykjanesbraut and there you turn to left (direction Keflavík) on road no. 41. After some 10 km you arrive at a traffic circle where you turn towards Sandgerði (still on road no. 41). When you have entered Sandgerði, turn right into road no. 45. Stay on for around 2,5 km where you will find Þóroddstaðir on the left side.
From Reykjavík:
Leave the city by passing Hafnarfjörður village, heading toward Keflavík city on road no. 41. After you have left the Hafnarfjörður city then it takes you some 35 km before you arrive at a traffic circle (next to Keflavík village). There you turn towards Sandgerði village (road no. 41). When you have entered Sandgerði, turn right into road no. 45. Stay on for around 2,5 km where you will find Þóroddstaðir on the left side.
